These guidelines support better functioning of the service. A.2 Roles and Responsibilities of Accommodation and Reception Staff The accommodation and the reception staffs of a hospitality industry perform multiple roles and responsibilities (Mok, et al., 2013).They are the backbone of any hospitality industries like hotel, restaurants, tourism, hospital and many more.
